Miscellaneous Published Papers

Over the years, Ed Troy, the president of Aerospace Consulting LLC, has published several papers in various technical publications such as RF Design Magazine, now Mobile Dev & Design, and Spread Spectrum Scene. Below are links to those articles for your reading enjoyment and technical education.

“An Introduction to the GPS System; The most widely used SS application is, of course, GPS!”, http://www.sss-mag.com/apps.html#gps1 by Ed Troy. This article is a good introduction to GPS and spread spectrum technology. The same technologies are also used for the Russian GLONAS system, as well as Galileo, Compass, QZSS, BeiDou, and IRNSS. Spread spectrum technology is the driving force behind Zigbee, Bluetooth, WiFi, and some cordless and cellular phone systems.
